I'm very excited about the 2017-2018 school year and am so excited about getting to know my students and watching them grow academically and socially through the year.

I have been with Murfreesboro City Schools since 2005. I started my education career at Hobgood Elementary as an Educational Assistant working with students at every grade level. I loved working with students so much I decided to go back to school to obtain my Master's in education. I graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in December 2012. I began working at Siegel in August 2013 in fourth grade.

Siegel holds a special place in my heart because both of my children attended Siegel. I loved this school as a parent and love it as a teacher. My daughter, Adele is 19 years old and attends the University of Tennessee. My son, Andrew is 18 years old and will begin classes at MTSU in the fall. I'm a very proud mother of the two of them. They are great kids!

I have lived in Murfreesboro all my life and attended a Murfreesboro City School. The same place I began my education career is where I attended elementary school -- Hobgood Elementary.

It is with great pleasure that I am given the opportunity to teach and spend time with my students. It is going to be a super-fantastic year!
