Hello My Name Is...
I have been a School Counselor at Erma Siegel Elementary since 2000. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and my Master of Education degree in School Counseling from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. I am a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), and I have held positions as President-Elect and President of the Middle Tennessee Counseling Association.
When I am not working, I enjoy hunting for treasures in thrift stores, refurbishing old “stuff,” and relaxing with my family and friends. I have a heavenly husband, a sensational son, and a dynamic dog! Their importance to me is captured in the following quote by Brad Henry: “Families are the compass that guides us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter.”
